Hi all,
Just to let you know the first Thursday Night Live takes place tomorrow! To go along with that
1. We have added a link straight to the space in the truePlaces page:
http://www.caligari.com/products/trueSpace/ts75/Brochure/truePlaces.asp?SubCate=S2forum
As well as including the time, we've added a counter on there that counts down in days hours and minutes, to make it easier to avoid time zone confusion.
2. Upgrade to truePlay1.3, or use trueSpace7.51! truePlay1.2 won't work as the server has all been updated, so do please check you have the correct version installed before the event to save delays on getting in there :)
3. Most of the chat will take place in text for now, to keep it fair to those who can't use voice (speakers only, Vista, etc).
We'll see you there!

Thanks Tom,
I'm hoping all the Team Caligari Devs and all your Tech Support guys might actually make it there themselves as well, since I'm sure that in addition to myself there are a great many here who would like to be able to thank them personally for all their truly outstanding work.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everybody at Team Caligari for taking this initiative for us all, and to especially thank the Tech Support guys and the Devs for making this all possible.
It was a lot of fun last night in spite of a few brief glitches and I really appreciate what you are doing here with this a lot.
I'm looking forward a great deal to next Thursday Night Live as I'm sure everybody else is now, and I'm confident this will become more fun every single week.

You're welcome! We figured it would be useful to avoid time zone confusion. Note that all our countdowns now use it, on the special offers too - it's all based on server time and not local time, so you can know the countdown time is exact.
Naturally we'll be using it for other meetings and events also.
