Hello All
The animator's club will be having our second meeting on Saturday, 10/13. The time is 12 noon pst, 3 pm est, 8 pm UK time. The meeting will be held in the scriptorium room. Our topic will be animated cameras.
I have a new job I am preparing for so don't know how much time I'll have to prepare, but I'll try to whip something up. Eveybody feel free to animate a camera to drop in at the meeting for everyone to check out.
Thanks |

I'll be there, looking forward to this one too!:D
Not sure what I can do in the way of a scripted camera but I'll give it some thought today and see if I can whip up something to drop in there too.
Thanks!

Maybe something to simulate a shaky camera, like the old shake-a-delic plugin? |

Hope see you all there this evening , as this time sits comfortable with European/UK time making it more accesible and easier to attend than some of the other sessions for me.
thanks

We had a nice meeting, thanks for coming folks. Jane had a nice camera with a le node that controlled its actions with scrubbers. Paul had a camera animated with physics. I had a lame keyframed camera, I didn't have much time to prepare unfortunately. We had some good discussions then all dipped in 3d visual dude's virtual jacuzzi for some relaxation. |

Tried to make it but truePlay kept hanging when I tried entering the Meeting Room. I guess you survived without the Peanut Gallery. Maybe next week... |

Great times as always...
Finally called it quits at 4:30PM PST, had a lot of fun.
Managed to grab a few late screenshots too, before the structure that gobbled Manhattan anyway (long story), and these should convey a bit of how much fun we all tend to have together in shared space.;)
Can't wait till next time,

Cool! That was a blast. Especially jumping off the diving board from such a height!

Bummer, I missed it. :( Too busy today. I had a camera rig I was working on too. I didn't quite get it done though. I'll share it when I get a chance to finish it.
Good to see that it was another good time though. Hopefully I'll make it next week. :) |

ROFL.. trust me to get in a pickle ...how in the world did I do that?
I can't believe how bizarre (and funny) I looked while panicking over not being able to let go of that thing.. I think in the end I had to ctr-alt-del. :p
Cayenne's (Paul's) structure has to be the largest I've seen ... and the truecuzzi was great fun. I hear next time the water may have moment too.
Here's my contribution to the screenies:
