Hi folks. How do we access the Surface Opacity of an object? I need to be able to adjust it.

Thanks!

Here you go bud,

just import the following RsObj format Script Object into your Object Stack, then drag it from there into a materials or shaders level of your object inside the LE, then you will be able to do anything from there with rendering possibilities such as handle opacity from script or change the appearance to vertex glows!

Enjoy,

Frootee, the automated way to get 'object render attributes' is on the 'scene' attributes panel. click the 'show object attribs' button, when your object is selected in scene. the obj attrib panel will then be in your object and working when you look inside..

Ah Cool thanks stan.
This is quite similar to Mark's suggestion; I used Dele's 'fade' trigger, but when I attached other objects to it, they would not fade. Prodigy pointed out that there are some DX shaders that may help; I have some premade objects, for example, Mr. Bones' skeleton. I think I may need to find something else in those objects for setting transparency.

thanks!
