I've never worked with MOV format before, what you guy recommend for an encoder app that supports MOV? (Preferably free.... or cheap... lol)

I've purchased this audio sequencer app and it only supports MOV format for importing video:

I've got tracktion too, it's a great program but import/ export option are a little lacking.

Try this:

Thanks Jayr.

Unfortunately it's a crippled shareware version and $30 to register.

Since Apple has a version of Quicktime without iTunes now, I went ahead and payed my $30 to Apple and got Quicktime Pro... :(

Ok. QuicktimePro is crap. It can't use DX filters and only reads mov and mpg2 format format files. It does come with a "pro" h264 encoder which is nice but seems to totally choke on files larger than 1 gig.

The program you linked Jayr is much better.

Edit: well all is not lost, installing Quicktime Pro now lets me encode to MOV format from Sony Vegas... :)
