Hi all,
For those who already own Flash, or who just don't check out the web specials, thought I would mention that the latest Flash special offer page is worth a look.
That's because Luis Saavedra of Altairfilms has sent us in the finished and final pilot episode for their TV series! You'll find the information and a link to download the animation on our Flash special offer page - Luis would also appreciate your feedback, and a simple feedback form is provided once you download the animation, so do let Luis and Altairfilms know what you thought of this first episode of their TV series!

Thanks!

An excellent animation. Unfortunately when I pressed continue on the comments page I got a "The website cannot display the page" error.
I think it should be clear on the special page that this plugin is model side only. |

Yes I agree, the way the add is worded it looks like Flash has been added to 7.x (workspace) when this is the same plugin for 6.6.
It would be nice to get a flash plugin for Workspace side. Maybe it could feed real-time DX9 renders to the SWF converter. That would have VERY fast render times. :) |

Watched the video and it was excellent. A lot of potential for the characters that were provided in those scenes!
I bought the plug-in as I think Flash is very efficient in the way it displays things.
More stuff to experiment with. :) |

Yeah, I got an error when I tried to give feedback also.
Isn't the flash plug-in included free in the 7.51 download? Or was that just a one time thing when tS7 first came out? I seem to recall it was included free. I had purchased it a year before anyway so I'm not sure, but I thought I saw people taking about it.
I agree, it would be nice to see the flash plug-in moved over to the workspace side. Although, with some good cartoon DX shaders, the real time render could produce cool looking cartoon animations very fast too. :)
As for the video I thought it was really well done. The characters and vehicles looked really nice. Some nice DOF shots too. I also really liked the audio. I thought the music and dialog worked well together. It was fun to watch. I just wish I understood more Spanish.
Excellent job Luis! Congrats on finishing it! :) |

Hi all,
Could those who experience an error on sending in their comments please send the comments to me at thomas@caligari.com? (Word for word, or as close as you can, please - we want to test the page and see why the error happens).
Thanks!

Any chance of this being several servers involved?
That is one working and one not...
Timeouts, probably people open site when starting downloading, if over default. 15' one needs to reload the page or something...
By the way just "dwonload" ing now ;)
Quicktime plays the file but don't recognice it, change to mp4 for quicktime icons.

I typed in my comment and when I clicked the "continue" button received this error:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e14'
