Found some free hi-res Skymaps... Not sure if these have been posted before. They are on a Blender forum so hope this doesn't offend :D

Now I just wish I could find a good photoshop filter to eliminate that vortex effect that happens when you try to apply one of these puppies to a skydome inside trueSpace... that annoying point at the top where everything stretches to come together. Someday soon I hope!

You could try PMing Rich Levy (think that's the right spelling?) - he does quite a lot with photoshop and photo edting/distortion tools for correcting perspective and similar things so he may be able to point you in a useful direction.


Anyone know what the texture import size restriction is on TS5? I tried to load one of these images in and TS didn't like it...

Dude, have you tried applying planar UV mapping to your dome?
