I'm still the proud owner of TrueSpace 6.6 and I was thinking of buying a copy of the polytools plugin, but it seems the website of CK Game Factory is down and I haven't been able to find a new website or any other place where PolyTools can be found... did they stop working on it and is there still a possibility of getting access (buying/downloading/anything) out there?

Thanks in advance :)

You're too late. Polytools are nowhere to find nowadays. But even when, there is no way to get a valid serial number then. And the unregistered version has some limits. A shame. Polytools is a must have. Even the current tools in 7.5 workspace are no substitute. There is no divide loop for example ...

Try this thread for more info, but if you have any related questions I cannot help you with them, you will have to ask them directly in that thread:

Good luck. Tiles is right, they are absolutely essential tools for 6.6.

Hope that helps.

I recently tried getting in touch with Chikara via email (ckgf AT hotmail DOT com) but have not received a response.

After using PolyTools for a while now, I don't think I could go back to modeling without them.

I'll see what else I can do. It's a shame that all these excellent plugins just up and vanish.

I agree for sure.

Assuming Chikara even has that e-mail address anymore, you would have to translate your request into Japanese if you want a reply, maybe using Alta Vista or something like that. If you do that though he may well reply, assuming the addy is any good anymore.

I'm assuming either he knows a bit of English or ran my emails and his responses through a translator, because his responses always came back in English.

...maybe it would help if I translate my text to Japanese first. It would possibly require less effort on his end and may win a reply. I'll give it a shot.

In the mean time, anyone interested should grab these plugins from Studio UTAHIME while they are still available:

Has anybody managed to get in touch with this guy yet?

I's like to get a few of these plug-ins myself, especially clothmotion.

@John Y - I've been to that site, it's where I got the plug-ins to start with. Unfortunately, they say cloth motion etc. is free, but don't provide the serial numbers you need to activate them.

You can't buy them anymore, which is why this thread started to begin with, I think.

Hopefully, someone will be able to contact this guy and maybe make these cool tools available. Would Caligari have any way of getting serials, since most of these plug-ins come in their packs?
