I've emailed this to Caligari but I'm concerned, with it being New Years, no one is in the office to get my email so please excuse me also posting this here.

Caligari, the Door Buster sale which is coming up, do you need to pay for these purchases via credit card or is it possible to make a purchase and send on payment via an international money order through the post? When I upgraded to TrueSpace 7.5, I paid this way because I don't have access to a credit card. Although funds are very low, I believe I can dip into my summer holidays savings for this sale to purchase VRay for US$199. I should be able to resave those funds before they are needed. But I need to know is it possible to place an order and pay via money order through the post?

With the sale starting on the 2nd January (4:00p.m. my time (Ireland)), I appreciate that my time is very short to get an answer to this, but if you can get back to me on this, I'd very much appreciate it. If you wish, you can email me at pkb@iol.ie

If this is not possible and the sale requires payment via credit card, then no worries.

Thanks, Roman!! Talk about close to the deadline!! I have 24 hours to the sale!! LOL!! I've emailed Bibiana, thanks again.

Oh, and I think the clock on the main home page of the Caligari site is wrong. it says 12 hours to the sale, but it's 24 hours, right?

Hi Paul

Front page: When the Big sale starts, 12 hours.

Click that page: On this page you see when the 1 hour deal starts and that's 20 hours as you stated.

Hope this helps.

Ireland - Time : 16:26 hours.

The one hour door buster sale is now open with VRay for US$199 but I've just tried to purchase it and when it comes to payment, it is credit card only :(. If this sale is payment via credit card only, then that's fine, no problem. But if it's possible to pay via mail order as my initial request asked, can anyone at Caligari help me please! I've emailed Bibianna but got no email back.

As I said, if this sale is credit card payment only, that's fine. But if I can pay via international money order through the post, I would like to avail of this offer. I'd be looking to get the CD version of VRay please and understand there's a bit of extra cost in that and US$10.00 postal costs.

News from the head-office: Any international customers who wished to take advantage of the door-crasher special, should email custsrv@caligari.com with what they wished to order and how they wished to pay; Checks, International Money Order, Postal Money Order etc . If the email is received today, the special price will be honored and the order will be accepted.

Hope this is good news for some :)

Will have to re-download some items. Used Mozilla Firefox and the downloads were complete, but when I went to open them, it said the items do not exist. :D

Must have gotten lost out there in never never land somewhere. Odd that the download tool says they were downloaded though.

I hope everyone got a chance to purchase items they had wished for. I'm sure there were quite a few people upgrading their software or adding a renderer. An offer like this was hard to pass up. Maybe Caligari had a growth spurt too!:)

Today should be a good day for all.

Prodigy now owns Dribble too? Cool! I hope you show us your stuff!:)

Got 7.5, at long last. Just could not pass on this offer!

DL and installation went smooth, thanks :D

I'll be playing around, eventually hoping to integrate scenes and animated characters in "Web3D". With the new import/export abilities trueSpace has become much more pipeline-friendly.

The videos that come along in the download are a fine initial introduction, but I'm sure there will be quite a few questions down the road. So it's encouraging to find this friendly forum community.

Cheers all around!

welcome to the light side Vnomad. I'm in Florida USA, and I think you sent some of your weather here in trade. ;) It's a bit chilly.

:banana:Finally got Truespace 7.5 !!! I'm pretty darn new to 3d artistry and most of my 3d experience has been in UnrealEd and Oxygen 2(Bohemia Interactive modeling program for ArmA:Combat Operations--game) but TS7.5 is a snap to use and I'm really enjoying myself!

That is exactly how I felt about Truespace when I got it at version 2. So much easier to work with than other programs. Welcome to the side of light ;)
