Hey glad your back with this one! Just keep the lid down because of J_edward's new dog. Don't want him sick or anything...
This is one of my favorite projects in the works....better than all the Photoshop stuff being passed as TS works in the Gallery!Yeah, all the photoshopping does get annoying sometimes |

Damn, I wish I knew what you guys are getting at...a lot of my stuff is Photoshopped to hell but all the raw materials are made in tS. I don't see the problem really... |

Another Update.
Slowly getting there with the mapping and textures. Just the walls to go. When I've finished them I'll post a link to a larger image so you can see the detail a little better.

P.S. Hi John glad to see your still alive ;) |

Ah, I've gone and ruined this thread for myself when I watched the movie 'Saw.' Now that is a filthy bathroom. This is still really well done though. |

Now that Brian's mentioned it, I gotta admit that the floor for all it's dirt is glarringly clean of debris.... :p
Great work on the updated textures, btw.

That looks amazing, particularly the textures - do you 'hand-paint' them all in photoshop or something and apply them as maps or is it more complicated? Layered textures using alpha maps?
Shame you couldn't use this for the chairs speed modelling thread...! |

Thanks Nez, actually I'm a PSP user but yes the textures are a combination of hand drawn and photo retouching. (Just the textures Steinie ;) )

Hi Guys, another update.
I decided to go back to my original 'checker board' tiled floor, I thought it went better with the wall textures. YES/NO ?
Nearly done with this part on the project just got to add some litter on the floor as Jack and Brian suggested and then its on to the fun bit ;)
Comments are welcome as always.

Well I think I'm just about done with this part of the project. I've added the litter and tweaked it here and there and I think that's about it.
Click Here (http://www.madmousedesign.co.uk/resources/Large-Loo.jpg) for a larger view so that you can see the textures a little better.
Comment and crits are most welcome guys.
Now its onto the next part of the scene I wonder what will be sitting on the loo???

great job on the textures!
I guess from looking at this heavy dirt, that you own one or more of Total Texture Dirt CD's?! :D
Maybe not sitting something on the loo but coming out of it (and you see just the naked legs from the guy on the bottom who was scared - runned away- and fall down because his pants has locked him *g* :D) |

I guess from looking at this heavy dirt, that you own one or more of Total Texture Dirt CD's?! Thanks Marcel. Actually no. All my textures are either freebee's from the net or hand drawn or a combination of both.

I can only think of one animal that comes up from a disgusting toilet.....no not an elephant.....
Hint 1: elephants are afraid of them.....
Hint 2: Sometimes they go mad
Hint 3: They sit next to keyboards
Hint 4: BabyRuth's are not animals
Hint 5: Their butt won't be on the floor
Do I win a prize?:D |

OK Mr Mouse here's my guess - it's that penguin isn't it? Penguins are notorious for poor toilet habits - for example they NEVER wash their hands afterwards.:D :D |

A bathroom that scurvy seems like it would have lost the rug to a 'series of unfortunate events' long ago.
Just a crazy guess on the guest:
(BTW, if you'd like one of these for Xmas, simply Google "toilet monster") |

That's really great/disgusting MadMouse. I'm-a-wondering how you're going to top (or rather bottom) that one. My only crit is the neutral gray background; I know it should enhance the grime but to me it seems to neutralise it, the scene floats in empty clean space. That's just my mental knee-jerk reaction, nevertheless it's a great image. |
