looking forward to seeing some texturing.

http://www.cgtextures.com/ id a fantastic website for high res images to make textures and it has 41 closeup images of elephant skin as well as reptilian and rhino heh, take a look in the animal section, it wont let me post links to specific sections

Nice! I'd found those guys before but forgot about them. Just downloaded a few really good close ups. ;)

I was messing around with SDS last night and I think I'm going to go ahead and target for SDS after all. It'll send the finished poly count up in the 60-100K range but I want to make a really nice finished image with this guy.

On a tangent, "Lizard" was the name of an old King Crimson album that I was really into when I was young and groovy. (Half you people probably weren't born when I was listening to that!)
