Ambassadors?

I removed my Gold Ambassador status the other day for reasons I have explained elsewhere but I just noticed that there are no other ambassadors with that title. I originally changed mine to 'ambassador in limbo' but the next day I was a senior member as are prodigy, Dele etc.
Are the ambassadors no more or is this just coincidence? |

You appear as a three dot "..." member to me in place of the normal statement. Nothing there at all. |

I removed my Gold Ambassador status the other day
Probably for the best-four star generals who wear their stars in a war zone tend to ge picked off rather quickly by the enemy! :D |

As I explained I am (was) very honoured to have ambassador status offered to me. I simply removed it to save disappointing any visitors expecting ambassadors to have any answers about all this....we don't!
I changed to the '...' to see if I could... it worked but I wonder if the ambassador club has now gone as it does not fit with Microsoft's own policies?
If other ambassadors changed their own titles then I am clearly wrong. |

I wonder if they will be sending "refund" checks to Pro Team members, now that the advantages they once had have withered?
At least pro rate the membership from the date of acquisition. |

Interesting proposition. I really hope it does not come to that (I hate the culture of blame and compensation we have created) but there would be every right to claim back your pro-team membership costs especially if there is no Proteam....but lets' give Caligari he benefit of the doubt.
One question though, is there still a Caligari? |

Paul, i never get chance to change my "user status"
Few month ago, i asked norm to change that (cos i saw you able to change that) but we can't get that option to work on my user.
So i never be able to change my status..:(
What ever, Senior Member is not a bad title, i think is better than "Madame Member" :p
Girls just a joke! :cool:
Ho, by the way.. im still being a gold ambassador untill someone tellme im not anymore. |

My title has always been Senior Member. Nothing to read into there. It was changed to "beta tester" once but I wanted it changed back. It never changed when I became an Ambassador. I just want my title to be like everyone else. :)
I believe everyone that was an Ambassador still is, including you. ;) |

I have not gotten any information that my status is no longer valid. I paid a lot of money for it. Used what I got for Christmas from several members of my family and friends. |

You are right, I am wrong. I was able to change my status to Gold Ambassador and there it will stay. I still know nothing I can share with you before you ask but suffice to say I am reassured of a bright future...:D |

Well... we don't know where the future is going. I say we just hold out and see what happens. Either the product will improve or not. They have every incentive to keep making it better, so we probably don't have anything to worry about. If, on the other hand, TS goes in a direction that does not fit with what the current users want to do, then we will regretfully go to a different program. I'm sure that Roman knows this and will keep His product at the highest level he can. |
