I know it's been out a long time; we saw it at the discount theater. Man that was freaky. I don't know about you but mannequins have always Totally Freaked me out man! They played a prominent role in the film. I wonder if Neville put them in some places, or if the infected folks put them out and around as 'bait' to attract any remaining humans? The film really played on my 'social senses' as a human. Overall it was a good movie I think. Later! They put the very ones from the video store, that Will's character was talking to, out on the street, just to freak him out. He should have been smart enough not to fall for it. First because there is no happy end in the book :D Second because the movie misses the "prophetic" dimension : the humans_as_we_know_it being replaced by new_humans that are seen as animals or dead bodies by Neville, who is the last old_human, the legend.
