Wizard! your latest animation entry was a stunning acheivment and testament to the capabilities of TrueSpace animation and rendering.:)

And of course to your talents as a storyteller and truly wizard like artistic skills including texturing, lighting, sound production and camera work.

By the way, Did you use mocap or traditional keyframing for the humanoid walking sequences in your animation?

I have an slight inkling I already know the answer.

Here is my desktop and just to let you know I watched and heard your stunning peice of artwork and music about 100 times today,

Thanks again for the inspiration and warning that Magic can be quite dangerous,

Cheers:banana:

Gee thanks Mr Bones. Your kind words mean a lot given that you are one of our leaders in tS animation!

Yes I used Mocap BVH files with added keyframes blended for variety. In fact the first three sequences of the Wizard walking uses a heavily edited version of one of your own freebie sample BVH files (the one with the limp). So thanks very much to you for your free samples - I learned a lot from them. The later walk cycles are mods of another free BVH I found elsewhere on the net. I edited the walk cycles with a copy of bvhacker I downloaded from your site.

Since completing the video as shown in the Caligari Gallery I've been inundated with requests for more from people wanting to know what happens next in the story so I will probably be revisiting your site for some further Mocaps at some stage:D. If you have any 'hey presto, hocus pocus' spell casting moves available I would be very interested.

Here's mine. I clutter it up during work, then clean it before I quit.

Am I the only 'Start-Bar-On-Top' one out there?
I credit tS with it's menu on the bottom for this custom.

Decided to be more minimalist like Tom, so I changed mine up a bit. :)

Haha nice one! Looks like the equivalent of the "Make Great Render" button, sort of a "Do My Work For Me" button. One press, and whatever it is you needed, out it pops - from story to presentation to spreadsheet to graphics.

Must get me one of those :)

You can get the real thing at Staples. You push the button, and it says, "That Was Easy"! They have one in English, and one in Spanish.

Nope, I have the start bar on top as well, I always have. It comes from starting out with computers on an Atari ST which had the menu on top. Most software has the menu on top too, so to me it's more logical.

Works for me !

Don't be dissin' the Princess, now.

Do you know I actually had to spend time creating that because the original was smaller and had other characters on it?

<3 Peach

Also, I love these threads, I always enjoy seeing people's desktops.

I put my start bars on top and bottom - depending on which PC I'm working with. The PC I use with TS most used to have it at the top, but with the link editor at the bottom of my TS, I find it easier to have it at the bottom now.

Ya, usually mine is as well, but I gotten into the habit of creating a folder for all my temporary files, shortcuts and recent downloads and dumping everything in there.

I do the same as Daybe. It's like the folder of death though. What goes in never comes out and is promptly forgotten... :p

We can't ONLY do graphics all our lives.:D
What do you think of BodyPaint3D? I've had my eye on it for years.

BP is heaven. I usually use it for UV mapping and I'll acknowledge it's active texture painting ability thing. Usually I UV map in this and texture paint photoshop, with deep exploration running to see how it goes.
