This is a public question to the forum adminstrator.


Why is linked images (links to external images on other webservers) restricted to just 4 when writing Blogs. That's ridiculous for a blog about art.


Could not write all I wanted this evening because of that limitation.

I can understand a limititaion on uploaded images, but not if they are just

links to images my own server.

Every good problem deserves a dumb workaround!

I've just tested this using attachments, hotlinking, and 'Insert Image' and there is indeed a 4 image limit.

You could try a couple things:

Use a text link to the image.
Multiple Blog postings.
Start a thread and see how many images you can cram into a single normal forum post, rather than using the blog.
Roll your own html, upload it to your existing site and post the link on your blog. Pro: Complete artistic control. Con: Eats up valuable time that could be spent making 3D.So how about it, admins? How about bumping up the limit if it's possible?

You can put a maximum of 5 images into each forum post. I remember that from the tutorial I put up in the tutorium.
