Thanks! To answer your question, nope, not yet. I'm still waiting for prices to drop. I probably won't get one till Christmas time. Until then, my desktop will hold me in just fine.

Ha! :D Yeah, that's my usual philosophy! (Works perfectly when I'm in the moment, but then I come back to planet earth and realize that my "reality" isn't "real." ;))

The secret to keeping those partying days going for another 4 years is to do college. ;) Just don't wrack up a huge debt doing it. Last thing you need is two house payments when you get out... ($100K in student loans + $500K mortgage.) :p
It can save a lot of money to do a smaller community college for the first two years then transfer to a college that specializes in the career field you want to go into. You just have to make sure that the college you want to transfer to will honor the courses first.
Since you're already into 3D design you may want to consider civil engineering, that's pretty much guaranteed work.... there's always some bridge somewhere that needs fixin'. ;) |
