I have a large monitor with a large resolution, and I can barely see them. On low-res screens, the images are quite distorted, and it becomes an annoyance to see them in such a state. 19.5 KB is also quite difficult to reach without sacrificing quality. If it were possible to have a slightly larger resolution, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt the servers all that much. After all, we are allowed to post 20 MB wmv files. Would it hurt to allow us to host our own files, but post the link to them in our avatars? 128 pixels in width, or even 140 (http://thevistaforums.com/uploads/av-8816.jpg), wouldn't be too much of a hassle. Could caligari allow a higher res, please?
