Well, I've tried to make a sports car for as long as I've been trueSpacing, but the closest I've come was a go kart :p So if I can't make a sports car, I guess I'll do the opposite end of the scale. These things have rather simple geometry, so I'm gonna have to do more on the texturing on this one. I think I'm done with the modeling, but I thought I'd see if you guys thought it was missing anything first. (the concept drawing is kinda awful, but I thought I'd upload it anyway) |

Tweaked the modeling a bit and started some basic texturing |

I'm not sure about the section where the bonnet cylinder meets the windscreen. The glass in cars of this age tended to be just flat sheets. The roof looks a little flat to. A gentle curve along its length would help I think.

Thanks for the crits, I fixed them, for the most part(I'm not quite sure what you meant about the windshield, so I added the sealing stuff around the edges) I'm going for a cartoony look with this one, hopefully sorta like splinters'. Anyway heres a very rough draft, I've still gotta make a backdrop image, create textures add polygonal grass and some dust behind the car ect. (oh and fix the jaggies on the trunk) |

Looks good there brian!
If you want to push for a cartoony look. keep it this way!
Otherwise you still have some work to do lol. |

Ok, I got most of the main grass placed, found a wierd texture I like for the trees and made a colored type backdrop, rather than achieving a cartoony look, all I'm getting is an extreme clash in detail, kinda like the ilistrations in those old childcraft books. I'm not sure if I like it or not. |

Well, here's the final version, it's far from my best work, but I'm happy with it (that and I accidentally deleted the textures to the car a couple minutes ago:p ) |

I'd rotate the camera a little bit. You've gotta get the whole vehicles anatomy. So I'd rotate the camera slightly just to get that wheel into the picture.:) |
