Well, I've tried to make a sports car for as long as I've been trueSpacing, but the closest I've come was a go kart :p So if I can't make a sports car, I guess I'll do the opposite end of the scale. These things have rather simple geometry, so I'm gonna have to do more on the texturing on this one. I think I'm done with the modeling, but I thought I'd see if you guys thought it was missing anything first. (the concept drawing is kinda awful, but I thought I'd upload it anyway)

Tweaked the modeling a bit and started some basic texturing

I'm not sure about the section where the bonnet cylinder meets the windscreen. The glass in cars of this age tended to be just flat sheets. The roof looks a little flat to. A gentle curve along its length would help I think.

Thanks for the crits, I fixed them, for the most part(I'm not quite sure what you meant about the windshield, so I added the sealing stuff around the edges) I'm going for a cartoony look with this one, hopefully sorta like splinters'. Anyway heres a very rough draft, I've still gotta make a backdrop image, create textures add polygonal grass and some dust behind the car ect. (oh and fix the jaggies on the trunk)

Looks good there brian!

If you want to push for a cartoony look. keep it this way!

Otherwise you still have some work to do lol.

Otherwise you still have some work to do lol.Even if I do stick with the cartoony look, it's still gonna take a lot of work anyway:p

Ok, I got most of the main grass placed, found a wierd texture I like for the trees and made a colored type backdrop, rather than achieving a cartoony look, all I'm getting is an extreme clash in detail, kinda like the ilistrations in those old childcraft books. I'm not sure if I like it or not.

Well, here's the final version, it's far from my best work, but I'm happy with it (that and I accidentally deleted the textures to the car a couple minutes ago:p )

I'd rotate the camera a little bit. You've gotta get the whole vehicles anatomy. So I'd rotate the camera slightly just to get that wheel into the picture.:)
