I just thought of an idea for spreading trueSpace and gaining more users on the forums. If you can, please try some of the following: * Show the words "made with truespace" in or next to an awesome piece of work that you create. * On other forums, give lots of links to the caligari site or to a positive tS review. * On other forums, advertise trueSpace and the Caligari forums in your signature by putting something like, "Join the Caligari forums, one of the best CG communities around," or "try truespace, here's a link to the demo." * Let people know what they are missing! Anything that you can do to help 'spread the love' would be great! For our community to thrive, we need it to grow, and for that, more people must buy truespace. Even a simple link to the forum will be extremely helpful. The more people who help, the more who may join! Its just to tell other people about interesting features to look at ! But I think a program has to be good enough to run by itself ! So if I get some news (nice new features ...) to spread I will do so ! I´m realy agtainst this all done in this and that software thing. And I think "best 3D forums" will get people laughed at. :( Better would be "friendliest 3D forums" :) Also TrueSpace is a software you can "grow with" as you build your skills. For me the art is more important than the tools used to make it. Other folk seems more interested in the programs that facilitated the artistic creation. Nothing bad about that of course and I always seek to plug the tools that work for me. For this reason I always make a point of mentioning which software was used for what. Sharing the love is a good idea but I think it should be done with some discretion - it's all to easy to be dismissed as a fanboy (fanperson?) if one appears to be too enthusiastic.
