The reason I ask is that you can composite video into a scene if you can calculate depth matte, Z-depth etc. In the three images below (a training video from lynda.com) you can take the layered video of the skateboarder and replace it in the proper depth behind the table. The second image shows the area to be matted and the third image shows the proper placement. Quite useful if one wants to composite videos within videos. You can make a custom shader that does this for Realtime as well. Parva's got one, I don't know if he's released it yet. You could also use Dele's fog shader. I the kind of person that if I want to turn right in my car, I turn right. I find that turning left three times to get back to a right hand turn is always more problematic.
