Sorry my bad english

Where can I find professional scene, to study light and materials such as glass, chrome, hdri, illumination?

For example, the beautiful scenes in the brochure present on the site of caligari ?

Thank you

Nicola

That would be up to the generosity of the users. Generally people are very protective of finished scenes, when it comes to the models - there could be hundreds of hours of work on the models, materials nad lighting. Some models may be licensed, as might some materials or textures, so cannot be distributed.

Can also be tricky to share, since textures may not be in the same folders etc.

Maybe someone is willing and able to share such a scene though, we'll have to see!

Thanks!

Tom

Wish I could help you more, but have you tried using the standard models that come with TS to make your own scene? if you are usingh TS7 there are a few standard scene files also

What version TS do you have?

Do you own VRay? (IF you have TS 7.*)

Thanks for the answers

I remain confident

It would be nice to build together a scene complex and high quality as can be found in galleries Chaos Group and lightworks, would be the best way to learn the "Tricks ", of course, with help of professionals artist.

Unfortunately, even in the network are not many resources on truespace 7.5

there are many websites around which offer a variety of high quality 3D models you should search for them, that is really your only option. People do not really like to share their scene files because they are personal and copyrighted. Before you can render and light up a scene you should learn to build your own scene, you do not need high quality professional models to become great at lighting and rendering

Why dont you start with the material preview models and scenes that have successfully been neglected by most of the people here !

http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=4867

You can at least learn how materials look like in TS !

And I will post the test room that I rendered in the chaos group thread !

Artwork and test scenes are given to Caligari for the love of the program and to promote sales. I did donate a model and scene for tS7 which is in the library. If you have tS7 then it is already there. If you have an earlier version then HDRI would be hard to explore...

It is the Ducati scene and you will find it has chrome effects as well as HDRI...best of all it is free..although I still retain copyright of the model.

Mmm, I never did get the cheque Tom....;)

Im agree with Steinie, read tutorials is the best way to learn, even tutorials from other 3d softwares...

Other important point to know is most of the final scenes are not fully maded on Truespace.. sometimes you need to add some postprocess touches to make the proper looking.. For example adding noise, contrast, lensflares, people walking,etc...

Each artist have their own way to make a sky for example, some could add a sphere with a textures, others in post process, others as a plane behind the scene and so on...

You can share your questions or problems here if you like, you will always find a gentle answer.. Thats the best part to be a truespace user.. :)

Regards.
