Is the site really up? Technically yes, but contentwise it seems still to be down. Five months have passed from the acquisition and we still do not really know the direction. Any other opinions?

If you were Caligari's supplier the situation might be different. Caligari is my supplier like many others'. I do not refer to technical problems which I easily tolerate but for my point of view it is the future approach I want to be clarified. Sorry if I sound intolerant - that is not my purpose.

The store pages are still producing 404 errors. Unable to upgrade my TS4, I tried calling Caligari yesterday but ran into a "Thank you for using Global Crossing..." message. Fearing the worst, I retried this morning and got through. They were apparently unaware that the store pages were down and have promised to fix 'em today or take orders over the phone.

Are there any activities among the ProTeam members or has the ProTeam been totally and infinitely been dissolved?

The rumor I've heard is that Truespace will be called VistaVision, and if you try to do anything at all, you will receive an error message saying that you are not authorized and do not have permission, and that an automatic upgrade is in progress and you should not touch your keyboard. It's probably a false rumor though.

Store pages are back up - note that the hardware failure was one that could be said to fall into the "catastrophic" category for the hardware in question ;) It was disk related, meaning the site has to be restored from backups and similar - this by nature means that not everything gets restored all at once, so some pages being uncovered as missing some days later.

Nothing to be alarmed about, since we have everything we need to put it back to normal, just a process that can take a wee while to explore and check every little corner :)

lol, vista isnt that bad. Although I have had to uninstall it because it has bugs with Maya which I need to use (particles and cloth simulation wouldnt work, though im sure its been fixed now). Its amazing all the things I miss about Vista, once you let it into your life, it will please you! lol

Yay for site back online, though I was sorta hoping for a new one, Its starting to become a little dated and still holds a lot of very old crap that could probably be gotten rid of, or archived somewhere. I think for the sake of Caligari's image, it should take a look at the competitor websites and make something just as good/better, basically a lot more business like to give the software a more professional backing. Just my opinion lol
