Hi All; This is my first ever picture using ts 5.2. I saw your sphere contest and though I don't intend to enter, I thought I would try to do one any way. But, I need help as perhaps you can see. Now don't laugh. lol. I was trying to get the puple in the eye to be rounder but now I can't get them out eather. How can I get them out (i did glue them in ) and how can I make the puples rounder? Thanks for any help. I have uploaded two jpg files for you to look at, I think. Well maybe not. How do I put the picture in here?

Select the head (if you've glued the eyes to it) and push the down arrow on your keyboard. Use the left or right arrow key to select the eyes, then (depending on how you have the hierarchy glued together) push the down/left/right arrow again to select the pupils. It may help to have wireframe or solid outline display mode. With the pupils selected, you can apply SDS to smooth them out or you can delete them and replace with something rounder- cylinder, sphere, etc.

SDS stands for Sub Division Surface, basically the whole surface of your object will be subdivided, making it nice and smooth. Just try it by clicking the icon with the "+" in it - its about half way through the bottom toolbar IIRC. The beauty of SDS (unlike quad dividing) is the you can have various levels of SDS and you can easily undo each level by pressing the "-" key which is next to the "+" key (funnily enough ). Give it a go, it will get rid of those block shapes in your head.

Hi All; Well all your info worked great. So I went and did it. Then I made a new eye. I have tried to upload it here three times so far and it won't go. But I deleted them so I'll try one more time.Ahh finally. Had to re save the pic to JPG and then everything was fine. Man it's hard to remember all this stuff.
