The contents of the attached zip contains files to add an index to the truespace 76 manual. The manual is spread over several pdf files so this will make searching easier.
ts76_manual.html - replacement, adds link to pdf index
index folder
index.pdx
Unzip the files and copy them into
c:\trueSpace76\tS\PDFMan\ |

Not here in the Southern Hemisphere! We have fresh snow on all the mountain passes and ski fields and right know there is sleet and a howling freezing southerly outside my window - you want snow, come and get it!!;) |

Thanks very much.
What did you use to make the index? Maybe you should email Caligari so that they can learn how! ;) |

Thanks, clintonman! Ironically, I had made passing mention of my desire for an index, in a different thread, just about an hour or two ago. (Talk about service!) :)
This gets me to thinking, though: I'm going to start a thread for suggested improvements to the manual. There are numerous ways in which it could be enhanced and/or clarified, and I think this would be a good way to get guidance from the people who use it. Especially now that there will be a lot of new users who aren't already familiar with a bunch of "secret details", workarounds, etc. that don't currently appear in the manual. |

I used an old version of Adobe Acrobat to make the index. There really wasn't much to it. Just use the catalog tool to create the index files and then add a link in the manual web page. Version 7.5 had the same lack of index so I was ready for this one. It was the first thing I did after downloading the manual. |
