I'm sure one of the gurus will show up and offer more advice. But to those new to tS7.6 and Workspace real time renders, here are some images that show how to render a real time scene.

Nice little tut James. ;) The widgets automatically get ignored when you render to file, so no need to turn them off. It's a good thing to know where those options are though. :)

lol - I just answered a similar question in the new user forum!

No doubt we will get these questions in most of the forums. It's always nice for new people to know that the "established" users are willing to help!

I have been pushing my real time display rendering to the max. I have real time display rendered now 100,000 frames with supersampling on and bloom on. I posted awhile back what is helping me avoid any problems. Here is that post http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=5370

So far Iam even have better success with 7.6. Seems more stable.

Thanks for posting this - it helps us newbies get a handle on things. It's not a big deal, but this gave me the insight into the location of the button for doing real-time renders - which isn't the location of the off-line render buttons that the manual points you to initially. Not a small thing when confronted with a new and somewhat confusing interface that is not all that intuitive at first glance. I'm learning but it takes time...
