Given what tS used to be worth, it would actually be cheaper to give Vray as a prize, athough I have no idea what each license costs.
Without Paks and paid courses (and the lack of proteam) I am not sure what else you could get now...:o |

since trueSpace is a free product now, it probably needs to advertise this to the world, so how about making the winner image (in the monthly contest) to appear as the main (promotional) picture in the many official ads that trueSpace releases?
this would work also for the animation winner!

We already use gallery images in our ads and promo material (that's part of the agreement in entering the gallery). It was noted in another thread, behzad, that the news about the prizes would be updated when the news is ready. Some rework to the gallery is to be expected following this big of a change.
Right now we have focused our attention on getting 7.6 and the free courses out to everyone, and getting the news out to all those folks who want to hear about the fact that now they can have a full and commercial 3D modeling app for free (kind of big news for many and a prize in itself!), since we view that as the main thing to do, before getting around to other more specific items like gallery prizes. In time of course, we will update everything to account for the new situation :)
Until then, keep the entries coming!
