Really trying to push how many polys I can real time display render in an animation. Here is an 8000 frames animation (speeded way up in video editing) with a city block scene. Truespace 7.6 display rendering worked perfect. Better than 7.5.

I really like it,

You could use the new shiny metal with normals for raising the bump on the buildingd.

I would add a panosphere with an hdri image. Then the windows in building will reflect the enviromient.

Very Cool that it is high poly...and that you using TrueBones.

Much appreciated.!

Cheers

Thanks for the tips mrbones. What Iam finding is that Iam pushing more and more what I can do with real time display rendering. I didi 100,000 frames in 7.5 in blocks of 10,000. With 7.6 I can do much larger blocks of frames. All is much smoother for me in 7.6 than 7.5 The bump mapping and hdri will really make this look cool.

An additional idea is a different angle on camera for the sword swooshing with JediBones.

I would create a POV by attaching a camera to the head of a T stance BVH skeleton.

As the animation is recording phys grab the camera and duck and dodge/react to his swordsswigning.

THat should add quite a bit of realism to the sword action coupled with the glowing and particles.

I would also try for less yellow in the skeleton, more aqua see through glowing white green. Using a DX shader, Maybee toon.

There is a speciallight set up which implements fog, That would be a nice touch on the city scape. I will try to find it.

Oh my gosh!!! You have me so excited (of course you are the master). I never thought about attaching a POV camera to the head of the skeleton. And physics grabbing the camera in real time! Wow. I do have my work cut out for me. Thanks for these advanced tips.

Another idea that came to me was using the wind prop on a camera,

That way the camera moves like a little heli copter.

Its real tricky in the prop settings but it can be done...

That is setting up little wind tunnel with multiple local wind props.

You can animate the position of wind props or phy move move record to move the camera on floating air paths.

Its fun to experiment with air cameras using wind to move them.

I was also trying to attach a camera to the swiming shark script.(for a steerable camera) That I have not figured out quite yet.

Add a Camera inside the Shark panel and connect Camera's "ObjMatrix" to Shark's "WldMatrix". With Camera selected move into position.

Thanks trueblue. I have been trying that for last 15 minutes or so. What a blast. And so easy. Many great possiblities. Iam right now as a test attaching a camera to dexter dyes head bone and while he is doing his motions

Stop it you guys! If you start enjoying the realtime LE stuff too much everyone will want to start doing it!!

Not only that you are giving me more ideas than I have time to work on - I could stay busy with this for the rest of my life!

I agree! with 7.6 being free it is bringing in tons of new people and new ideas. As Roman just recently mentioned 500,000 downloads .. its going crazy. Iam time torn between Truespaces partners 3dvia.com (thousands of free models), Virtual Earth (how cool it is that modeling your models anywhere on the globe), modeling, animation, texturing. I just cant take it all in. When I bought Truespace 1 over 20 years ago I never thought I would still be this excited. :jumpy:
