Here is a cool tip (sure wish we had a forum category for tips, completed works, etc) you can drag files directly from any windows folder in to the anim editor. I have hundreds of bvh clips I can drag right in to anim editor. Then save each one of those clips as rsclip/ anim clips. Great time saver. :jumpy:

Hi J,

Do the names of the BVh retain upon drag and drop.

And if not after renaming clips, do they retain once saving to library as clips?

Also if you export a saved clip as bvh does it default name convention?

Thanks

When you drag them in to the anim editor they come in as skeletons. Then expand each one in the anim editor and click on its anim clip and save it to a folder as an anim clip. Nice thing is you can drag dozens or hundreds at a time. Really has saved me so much time. :jumpy:

Yes J,

Very nice,

However renaming the clips would bring the time saved back to 0.

Would be great if the names were dragged along with the bvh.

Do you agree?

Since the bvh skeletons can not be changed to an .RSClip in a regular folder by renaming them they must be brought in to Truespace first. So, for me being able to bring so many in at one time then save them quickly as anim clips is a time saver. Old way for me was bringing the skeletons in to Truespace one by one then renaming them to RSClips. I can bring in a hundreds at a time now. Let me know if there is an even faster way. Thanks :)
