please please PLEASE vote in this month's MMC (Monthly Modeling Challenge)

We need more than just the 14 people who accepted the challenge, we need everyone who likes Castles.

We have so many new people here and viewing the WIP forums will help make you a better modeler. Trust me on this.

By voting for your favorite WIP, you are showing support for all the hard work and extra effort that the challenged put in.

You can vote In this thread (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=6421)

All the participants will thank you for it. It's 14 of the very best efforts for a MMC that I have seen and we want to encourage people to come back and try again even if they don't win this time.

I also encourage people (weather they vote or not) to participate in next month's challenge. It's lots of fun. Gives you a project to work on. AND you learn so very much about the program by participating.

Thanks in Advance!

Ken A.

Yes.

Come vote. A lot of people put a lot of time into these and everyone should come by and look them over, and cast a vote.

So far only 16 people have voted (there were 14 entries). I think everyone would hope other modelers would take some time to take a look.

Thanks

Why is the vote so early?

August is not even over yet.

I'm trying to run the challenge in one month. 3 weeks to model - one week to vote. That way, the next person can do it in one month. we hope. :D Sometimes things happen.

BTW.... only 21 votes in there right now... we need more viewers voting.

Even the lurkers can vote as long as they are registered on the forums. You don't even have to leave a comment. Just vote.

How does the monthly modeling challenge work and where do we look to see the models?

http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/forumdisplay.php?f=79 (this is the forum for it)

The person who won the previous contest runs the next.

They post a topic along with the rules.

"Poll: August 2008 MMC Challenge - VOTING" (this is the voting thread for the current MMC)

"August 2008 MMC Challenge - Castle" (this was the challenge thread)

"August 2008 MMC Challenge - Comments" (this is the thread for comments during the contest (instead of filling up the challenge thread)).

I'm not sure we need a separate comments thread for the MMC, unlike the SMC, the entries are not placed directly in the thread.

Thanks guys, now I get it. I do have a suggestion. I think it would work well to have a 3d space set aside as a gallery for the monthly contest. It could have 2 sections. One to show past winners and another for the voting process. You could see all the entries side by side in a gallery setting.

as of today, there are only 3 more shopping days until the poll closes, so if you haven't voted, now would be the time.
