Looking good on the truck! Take a few days off, have some wine, walk the beach...
As a side note:
I have no problems importing AI files into tS66. I don't recall the version numbers, but it's like 6 or 7 I think, whatever that means in AI speak.
The tire and wheel in my post Getting tired was imported as AI.
The key to importing AI is to make sure the object is grouped as one object and unicolor, preferably shades of black/grey. |

Oh and a BIG thing to remember is to make sure that there are no strokes on any of the object(s) in the Illustrator file. These will come in as seperate objects sometimes or TS will see the face as being the space between the stroke and the shape which is useless obviously.
Prodigy,
Take a nap, and then come back and finish :)

dr22, when I approach a tedious task like treading a tire, I begin by creating a stamp that will cover exactly one portion of the tire. 360 divided by say 6 is 60 degrees. I put enough tread pattern to cover 60 degrees, glue them together and then I rotate tire 6 times 60 degrees. In the end it can be quicker. |

That is a really good idea Norm. Conversly you could do the same thing with the group of stamps.

Pretend you will render to file again and see where you are taken to save the file. Chances are that is where missing render is located. |

Yes figured I would throw a little "Hex" on the thread :)
I found I have to edit the forum hex in notepad to remove some hidden line breaks. Once that was done the converter was ok. |
