today i go to Dubai. I will be at home (Paris) in a week. I have some questions for the forum before i go. I will see the result next week.

Do you think if thousands of peoples go to the forum in the futur (since TS is free) is a good thing or a problem for the quality of the comments?

What about a free TS for future version? I am happy today but i am afraid with the futur speed improvements compared to concurence because I use TS as a professional.

Thank for your comments.

I don't think development will slow any. :)

We're getting a steady trickle of new forum users, but it's not an unmanageable flood. Mostly the increased activity is old users coming back "home" to trueSpace. So I don't think we'll see all that much of a change in composition of the forum users and quality of the forum. The increased activity is definitely good though, and hopefully we'll continue to steadily get new members.

It's anyone's guess. I would imagine the only ones that know for sure what the plan for future TS versions and the free/versus commercial versions is Roman and the people at MS he reports to.

Now if you do alittle looking around and guessing a bit you might draw some concussions on your own.... Here is mine, and I emphasis that I have 0 (as in zero) inside knowledge on this, I am merely looking and guessing.

Google earth is MS main target for Virtual Earth. MS needs to get content out there to make VE a viable success. Google Earth has a free and Pro version of Sketch-Up for creating content for GE... So if that is the model that MS is looking at, it is reasonable to guess that TS might in a future version use that same model...

So that is one reason we need to get TS as bug free as quickly as possible... :) (shameless plug for people to keep posting those little gottchas that they run into)

Or MS and Roman keep TS as a free program forever and ever... Only Roman and MS execs know for sure.
