This new skeleton and rigging features in 7.6 are great, just what I expected back in Gamespace era.

Am using a skeleton with rigged mesh that follows the Truebones naming, and wish to apply motions from BVH files.

But when I import the BVH, truespace creates another skeleton.

What is the procedure to import/apply BVH motions to existing skeletons, assuming of course that BVH file has the same bone structure?

Thanks Steinie,

I was thinking that the solution was sort of that. I tested and now have it working as expected.

You can copy the anim clip created by the imported BVH in the Animation Editor, then paste it on the same track as your Character skeleton track.

Or you can select the anim clip created by the imported BVH and save to library as an RSCLIP to your library, Once saved you can apply the RSCLIP directly with one click to your pre-rigged character.

There is a demonstration video located here.
