Not sure how many people know about this software but.. http://www.3d-rekonstruktionen.de/bricksntiles/ It is a seamless brick and tile maker. Also Spiral Graphics is having a free open beta on Genecita 3.

Might be useful.

Is the Genetica download a time limited beta?

I have not installed it yet, but I would guess it would be. Heck still a nice program to use as long as you can.

I guess a person could churn out a lot of useful tiles based on the samples files in a month or even a fortnight. :D

I downloaded the free version last night and played around with it for a couple of hours this morning before heading to work. It does not generate the fractals as the commercial versions do, but you do have the freedom of altering and adjusting the textures pretty good. It also comes with a pretty complete library of presets to use, and there are 4 packs on their site you can use with it also. I own ImageSynth with allows me to do some pretty creative things already with textures, the Genetica Viewer will wwork with other types of textures nicely also. You can save textures up to 3000X3000 according to the documentation on the website, I have only done 1KX1K files myself.

Nice find, Thanks.
