An excellent demo reel, put together by users of a product.

Perhaps trueSpace users should take note of the promotional?

Yes that is a very nice reel. I have carrara as well, got it on promtion, to be honest I didn't know it could do all that.

Good to see you James, How's everything going?

Hi Froggy!

Doing well, learning the ends and out of the new software. Not as hard as I thought it would be. At least everything works and is ready to go. :D

The things I can do now...oh...I feel like a woman in a shoe store full of free shoes.

There's some nice stuff there. I liked the bicycle-horse, but that was only on for about five seconds. Sadot's work is really good, too, but he doesn't make his models in Carrara (Hex and zbrush, maybe?).

Overall, I don't think this was demo that great - too much that wan't cararra for starters (daz/ poser content; or hexagon, zbrush etc.).

Although I agree something like this for truespace would be nice. I would probably keep the scope down to a specific theme, or make a real-time physics demo, stills demo (etc.) separately. I would also make sure it was truespace only work, otherwise it pretty much destroys the credibility of the marketing idea.

Get Jhowl to put together one of his long physics, bvh animations, some people to work on environments, do some cool weather and you would have a very compelling demo for TS also... unfortunately for Caligari we are a fragmented little community of artists... not a bad thing.
