Can someone show me how to get a good Splatting effect in TS7? I have tried everthing I know and I'm out of idea. Is there anyone here that knows how to get this effect? Would you teach me how?

Thanks!

Always~

There is the Splend DX shader made by Dele. It blends four textures together, using a RGBA mask. I think that is what you're after :)

This works really well. You can make your own 4 colour masks with it. It's not strictly Splatting does the job. Dele is Da MAN!

I just uploaded a new version of the Splend RGB shader. I learned how to write some HLSL so now you don't have to press a button to separate the maps. It will do that on the fly and is more efficient than the previous version. ;)

Vickie: The Splend RGB shader will work to blend textures in tS similar to splatting. It doesn't use chunks when blending so it's not quite splatting, but it's similar. It will allow tilable textures without tiling the alpha map. I currently don't know of a way to allow painting the alpha maps in the 3d space unfortunately. So that's something for the future I guess.

Now that I'm figuring out some HLSL, I've got a few other ideas brewing too. ;)
