I am using Dele's cool little Splatting tool (almost a full splatting tool), I also do a bit of adding textures to thos same objects that I am using.

Using the Soft Select Tool I can make a selection of vertices, convert them to polygons and than put a planar wrapping on them. To that selection I than can place a texture, this is allowing me to get far more creative with this great tool.

I am running into an error tht I am confused by. Looking at the picture here you will see on the lower portion of the picture below the brown road bricks there is a section that has some distorted texture (this area was created in the Splendid pluggin from Dele. Above the same road surface is another section that I went in and selected the faces and put a fresh planar uvmap on...

Is this a known error, or am I doing something incorrectly here?

It is not such a problem as long as you know what is going to happen and you know the solution... I just wanted confirm and see what others know.

Thanks

Rich

Never mind, my bad, I was stretching the texture when I was trying to scale the new road to the size I wanted... All is well over in my end of the world all over again.

Yeah, fundamental rule of UV.

Cannot change the polygonal structure of an object in any way after applying a UV or it will corrupt the UV and texture.
