Hi!

I'm a new user to Truespace 7.6.

I only know a bit how to use Truespace.

I wanted to know if somebody can give me a good place for beginners in Truespace- preferably videos- that teach Truespace and modeling.

Please help.

Thanks!

This tutorial is a good place to start. There are a good assortment of TS tutorials all supplied by Caligari, take advantage of them and have some fun learning the program and creating.

yeah; also note there are more video links on the left of that page.

Also look here; this is the page you get to, when you click the Training tab at the top of the forum pages.

The manual also has some very excellent tutorials, to the point and short. So be sure to check that out too.

Hi!

Thanks for the replies. I'll check the tutorials.

I wanted to ask a question:

I have a Wacom Bamboo Fun graphics tablet.

How can I use it with with Truespace? Are there advantages? Are there things in truespace that are good for using with graphics tablets?

I have a Wacom Intuos A5 but never use it for CAD work, only art and retouching. tS has never had really good tablet support but you can use it. Just make sure you check the Tablet box in the model side preferences panel.

You will only be able to use the tablet on the Model side (TS 6.6), the newer WS side does not like tablets at this point.

Don't forget to check out the Bitesize videos for some video answers to some questions that new users have:

For the tablet, I wouldn't try using it in tS, tablet support is not great. tS is the one application where I have to put my tablet aside and return to the mouse :)

HTH!
