I check here on occasion(when I'm not working on my games, yes 2 now), but I'm no longer a tS user.
What are you using now? Just curious. :-) |

I have to agree with the original post that I think things are a bit slow on this forum currently. The Work in progress forum is for instance not updated much currently.
My excuse is that I simply have this as a infrequent hobby of mine. I had a quite hectic time with the last MMC and it wasn't really a success. So currently I am recharging to get some new inspiration. My next step is apparently to master texturing and I can't really find any inspiration for that now when work is slow and winter is approaching...
Also, since the Work in progress forum isn't really active, there isn't so much to get inspiration from. My dream now would be a good texture video for Vray on Workspace side and that we get a good unwrapper with TS 7.61. |

Yes splinters on your own page but have you post some images in the 3d galery from cgtalk ? This is the right place for great renderings. |

I've been away for about a week or two and was surprised how slow it was when I came back on, but boards seem to always go along in waves.
Especially when you got the MMC and SMC sometime you get a lot of action and then people seem to need a rest from modeling (or at least non-business modeling) and take a rest.
I think a lot of the modelers on the board are really great and their work is great advertising worth to TS.

@teamonkey...
I use blender mostly, but also silo, and lightwave. I have most major apps(excluding XSI, never bought it), but these are where I usually work...Maybe when tS becomes a stable and usefull app for me I will come back, I just don't see a point in it(using tS) ATM. |

Sorry Vizu, I am struggling to find the time to do my own site at the moment never mind posting elsewhere.
However, there is not much to do on my site now before I start the next project so I may put some tS stuff out there...:D |

I ruined my shoulder a few weeks ago and am still enjoying a steady diet of painkillers and sedation. I will be back up and running in a few weeks hopefully.
other than that... participation in most forums waxes and wains.... a lot of students and educators here so I find sept-dec slow... picks up over Xmas and then steams along till exams..... then summer kicks in. |

Interesting, thanks. Part of the reason that I asked was that you seemed so involved with TS a few months back, I wondered what had made you change. Guess you have to use the tools that work, even if that means moving on. Good luck and have fun.
