The old trueSpacers haunting this forum may recognize that logo... or that name : Nate Hayes.

He was one of the very first tS3 plugin makers. Remember : TrueView, the first scene tree/explorer tSX :)

I just came across his website and found that Nate's company was working on a promizing standalone render engine : Meridian (http://sunfishstudio.com/software.htm).

Reached by email, Nate says that they are working on a Maya integration, but would be happy to encourage or support any 3rd party that

is interested in doing a plugin for trueSpace.

This forum is the right place to spread the word ;)

That looks good, there are plenty of talented scripters here who could be intrested in this. Did he give any idea of a possible price range?

That renderer looks quite nice but does not have a price tag....

Could be out of some of our reach....:D

This is true, and it's also targeted towards feature films. Perhaps they could do a deal along the lines of 3delight. Or Microsoft could buy the company and make it free.....:D
