Guys, I found this on the net, and it looks awsome!!!:banana: Its a procedural texture generator called MaPZone made by Allegorithmic.

Its totally FREEWARE and have free tutorials, just like TS now! I still dont know how deal with it, but we could share information in this thread. I bealive that it has an enormous potencial because it generates patterns that side by side you cant see the limits of the pattern, thats the advantage of procedural texture. |

Well if the search engine at this site would be better you would see
that we had some talk about map zone and the other node type
helpers already but nice that you brought that up again !

Wow, this thing is pretty amazing I've got some free version of Genetica that is also pretty good and node based. |

nice program .. thanks for the link.
just in case anyone is curious, i exported just a couple of the many default unedited textures from mapmaker and applied them to some primitives in truespace 7.6, heres the render.

I think I downloaded an earlier version of this at some point but didn't get into it. That doesn't mean its not worth a second look! Does the current version create normal maps? |

on the web site it says it can do normal, diffuse and specular maps to go with you colour map |
