Just wondering if there is a noise modifier in TS 6.6?

I know there is probably one in the newest version, but I am comfortable with version 6.6 and will probably stay with that.

I got the idea from Andrew Kramer using 3D studio here :

In the coolpowers 2 plug-in pack (link in sig) there is a modifier called wiggledy that does pretty good noise deformations. There was also a plug-in called wave generator, but I can only find the demo and the original developer is long gone, unfortunately.

3dsmax excels at these kinds of deformations (especially when animated), there's really no close second among other 3d software that I've used for these effects.

I'll watch the video you've linked to and see if there's any way of mocking up the same thing in 6.6.

Here is a Waves plugin, by Scott Vader. It makes tS7.6 to crash, but may work in tS6.6 though (I never tried).

There was a tsx called MeshForge5 (Works in 6.6) which allowed you to add noise and some other parameters were adjustable. Probably not available.

You can get the demo at digivison. It's a PI plug-in, so maybe they could release it free like the others. There are lots of decent looking plug-ins that have disappeared, or were only available with the packs, it's a shame.
