I am trying to get a material rectangle (png or tga) to have a transparency, but I can't figure out how to do this. I am making a basketball court and want to put a logo on the floor as a material rectangle. Any ideas?

Apply your material on the model side and use your png or tga for both the color and transparency maps.

The masked area will be transparent when rendered. OR... when you go back into the workspace the masked area will be transparent.

The other alternative is to make the logo part of the texture map that you use for the floor of the court.
