Hi everyone. I have a question.
I will be writing a user manual for the fluid sim importer plugin. You can model in truespace, export to blender, and, through a few simple steps which will be shown in the user manual, you can generate the fluid simulation. Then the sim can be played back in truespace; it can also be integrated with other animated objects in truespace.
With that said,
How many here are interested in using fluid simulation?
Thanks! I am attaching a poll. |

Although I did not see the poll yet, I am VERY interested in fluid simulation. My work involves using TrueSpace creating graphics and animations for our web based courses. (Been creating stuff from pump stations to sharps containers) Yesterday our VP wants us to simulate fluid flow in our Industrial valve maintenance courses.
The pressure is now on to look good.
 |

in that same area.
It's good to see that the plugin will prove useful. I am intent on getting this completed, documented, tested, and released asap. |

If they would implement metaballs in workspace then fluids would be available there, you would just need to add a few equations to get flowing instead of like sand. That would be cool, but until then your loader will be amazingly helpful. |
