Guys, I'm starting my own company here in Brasil. It is not registered yet, but I have to start with something. I asked my cousing to do my Personay card (Attached), now I want do the animated 3d logo of the card in TS.
I have no Idea how to do the Blue Fire shader. I know that is possible to do that with the LE Shader edit, Maybe some thing like the anisotropic and the bacteria alpha combined, I dont know. I tried do with a map using the card as a texture but didnt looked good because I'll need to make a panoramic view of the tentacles.
I want to do something like transparent tentacles and make then move like a octopus made of fire. its an abstract thing :p. They will be cilidricall.
Is any one there that can help me with this Shader for Realtime Render? |

Parva is the person for this job. :D
Im agree with a anisotropic filter and bloom maybe you can get an effect like that..
I'll try to make some tests.. Abrazo desde Uruguay ;) |

yeah, Prodigy came up with a very good approach I think.
At least I like it :D
...
why do you want the effect in realtime?
The logo looks cool but keep it as simple as possible.
Due to the Corporate Identity/Design it should represent the whole company (and should work with many color grounds as possible)
For animations I keep my logo intro simple ->

@Prodigy - It looks awesome man!! Its Perfect! Can you share this with me? If you dont want give me the shader file you could just say how you did it, I'm still not so good at shaders.
@Parva
I need it in realtime because I dont have V-Ray and I'm tired of model side and lightworks :D:D:D so I'll render the animation with the realtime render to file!
Yeah I agree with you, the logo should looks simple, but for me not yet. What you attached is an animated "Logo Marca" in portughese (I think is Benchmark Logo I dont know in english). The image I attached is just my personal card and I wanted something cool to animate to show in a video file what they alredy know. I'll do a "Logo Marca" when it became necessary, by now is enough the way it is now, I didn't register yet. |

"Can you share this with me?"
No..
hehehehe.. was simple anisotropic filter with a blue color nothing else.. the best angle is view this shape from top view..
**i added a last time minute object, the test2 is more optimized.. and shows you how easy you can make that flame shape..
Add Few SDS levels.. and that's all.
cordiais saudações
****UPS!!!!! i miss i made this in 7.61 beta :( and is not compatible with 7.6 :S
Do this.. open the DX and choose the anisotropic shader
and pick this color..

@Prodigy - it was looking good in the photo, but to achieve the effect need to put the camera in a right angle, if the camera moves it loses the effect.
I need something that dont depends of the camera view Because I want to do something like a panoramic view, to show all the 3d capabilities. And need to have a little transparency to looks like the one in the card.
Ideas? |

Hi ivampretti,
Not sure this will help. It is an animated BlueFire shader which you might want to experiment with in real time. I included a video to give you hopefully somekind of feel for shader behavior. Best to experiment. Changing images can have dramatic effect on what you see so experimentation can reep good benefits. Anyways here is image, video and sceen with what you see in video. If you have any questions please let me know. |

@noko - This is quite interesting! Especialy because of the boundary adjustmens! I'll do some experimentation later I'll post the result, thanks! |

I didn't go into lights influence setting. Anyways shader uses constant textures but can also be influence by lights depending upon color selected and light present in scene which can it's own color. Black color would mean lights in scene would not affect the shader output color which would be more appropriate for things like fire which gives off light. Just another option to allow different sections to be darkening or brighter in appearance especially like when animating geometry.
I will see if I can get updated docs out shortly on forums with a number of tutorial objects (Fire, smoke, water fountain, snow/rain, moving stairs). |
