Hi all
I have zipped up a small project for TS and made it available here,it is a pickup truck, some time ago I saw an article about making a re usable vehicle template and thought it a very good idea as getting the wings/wheel wells to look right is'nt so easy.

The project is ready to be point edited to make it conform to the drawing,in the "Templates" folder there are the full model template and a half model these I included if anyone wants to use them with thier own drawings,I hope this will be useful.

A Tip: The template is all quads for easy subD'ing so the only triangles you get are the ones you introduce yourself I recommend you try to avoid them if possible.

Now that is a cool thing to share! I'd be interested in seeing any creations that people make from this, to see the range of results that people come up with :)

Thanks!

Hey Jim

Thanks for the truck model to play around with. Nice job you did setting this one up. I also want to thank you for the camel today. I really had some fun doing some displacement painting with it in TS.

Here is a picture of the truck. I'll get the rest of the details in tonite or tomorrow. Mind if I reload the finished model here?

Thanks Again.

Ya know, I think I like it just like this.

TS SoftPaint Brush and 2 levels of SDS. Lightly touch the edges to get a nice round over look. SoftPaint Brush in TS might not be as powerful as some of the other tools on the market, but it does a great job. I use it for things like this all of the time.

Under Carriage coming next :)

The non sds version is basically your model, I only added some cuts...

RealTime... it works great in TS realtime :)
