Are there any good books on tS 7 around? I'd like to have a reference. Something, preferably, that goes over a project from start to finish. Something like:

1) Polygon Modelling

2) NURB modelling

3) UV texturing and skinning

4) Rigging

5) Animation

6) Scripting

I know we have the video tutorials, which are good, but it would be nice if I could find a decent overview of the entire process. Any recommendations?

Hey Ron

The best thing that is available that I know of are the videos you mention and the manual. As for knowing the process, it would depend on what you are doing.

Hmm, bummer. This program could use a good book, methinks.

I forgot to put shaders on that list. I need shaders too :)

I hunted through amazon, but there's nothing current, it seems. Guess I'll have to make due with the videos. The organic modelling one was very awesome, I hope Jack is planning on continuing it at some point.

I did a bit of modelling with GameSpace a couple of years ago, but it's been a while, and what little skills I had have atrophied. Maybe some day I will post something in the WIP sectoin :)

there are many polymodeling, texturing etc. tutorials in the I-net.

U can learn polymodeling from 3d max tuts. Texturing with every program but for sure not in TS. For Nurbsmodeling you can take a look on Rhino tuts. Animation hmmmm not in TS and rigging is the part for "tiles" he is a member here. Scripting (i belive "Emma" from here in the forum know more" :)
