I dont understand "Cuando es" that means "when it is" if you whant to say "how much it is ?" you must put "¿Cuanto es?" |

My vote is for render one Prodigy. :)
I don't like render two because the rounded white insert seems to have too sharp edges.
Render 3 is ok, but not as dramatic as render one.
Great work!

Does anyone know how Prodigy put the numbers, and all the small details on the face of this watch? I keep asking but no answer...
Decals? They look like polys but how? I can't sleep at night!!!
I thought he was going to tell us in this demo but he went and made the watch even better! |

Well it's clear to see that Prodigy IS a prodigy, with prodigious talent and ability. This is a lovely piece of ... well, everything: modelling, texturing, lighting and composition.Does anyone know how Prodigy put the numbers, and all the small details on the face of this watch? I keep asking but no answer...

Steinie, they are almost certainly polys IMHO. trueSpace has excellent facilities for modelling letters and numbers - indeed essentially anything that is a truetype font can be typed into the workspace, hit the sweep icon and hey presto, instant 3d letters and numbers.
In tS 6.6 the text tool is in the same flyout at the curve drawing tools. If you've not found this facility of tS before you should check it out - the creative potential for logos and headers and so on is really limitless - as Prodigy easily demonstrates! If you combine the text tool with point edit tools like bevel and/or SDS and the bend/taper/skew toolset (not to mention the animation tools) theres nothing you can't do - if you already know about this sorry but if not, try it - you'll like it!
The picture in my current sig below is an example I did with tS 5.1 several years ago...
