Part of my Water Bottle Project, have till May to complete, so can take my time. heh

This will part of larger poster that shows where things are located and what is available, so the detail may be lost when it is reduced in proportions. But anyway, here it is for the time being, comments.

I added the water drops hopefully to make it more appealing.

Nice composition and rendering, I reckon you should make the bottle lid seperate and slightly larger in width than the bottle top to make it look more like its an actual lid, this one looks like it somehow melted into the bottle heh.

Why is it Naive? just curious heh takes me a long time to get jokes I think

the materials are great too btw, really looks like water and the water drops certainly add a great effect

Good observation on the lid, I'll have to whip out the boolean tool. :)

NAIVE is EVIAN spelled backwards, it's an old bottled water joke. :D EVIAN is a famous water in Europe and sold in the US. The final label will be something different, but I haven't gotten that information from the supplier yet.

Thanks Chester for the encouraging words. Now I have to template it and see how it looks on a large poster, the type you see at movie theaters...

I'll leave the Printer requirements to my friend as all the Quark Publishing stuff makes me break out in hives. :D

Looking very nice James. The water droplets work well I think.

Is the background picture going to be the final background image? I ask because it looks like there is a discrepency between the parallax of the image and the rendered components. If the shelf holding the bottles was extended into the picture infinitly it should disappear at the same horizon that the images ground disappears - otherwise the shelf looks like it is not horizontal in relation to the background which cause a cognitive disconnection - it just don't look quite right!

Of course ignore all this if you want to. I just wanted to offer my thoughts in thehope that it helps.:D

Heh Heh, Im in the UK, we have Evian here too, I never heard that before and I never noticed either heh heh, I guess you got to be naive to buy the water believing the crap they tell you about it heh

Also a tip, you ought to try using the shadow catcher to give more of an impression that they are standing on that table, or perhaps fake it in PS heh

Don't think that will be the background picture, but it's the only I had of the town.

It was just an illusion actually, the so-called shelf was the photograph inverted to make it appear it was on a shelf.

I wanted a photo from inside the saloon with the bottles sitting on a table, but the facility is closed until April and I can't get any shots for it.

If you haven't guessed, the attraction is an old western town for tourists as it appeared in 1870. They call it Cow town, but it is really old Wichita that was on the west side of the river. Back in the day when Wyatt Earp was Marshall. :D
