Time to say farewell // Roundtable 1  |   Order by default Post by TomG // May 19, 2009, 10:07am TomG Total Posts: 3397 Hi all, The official announcement is now out, as you can read here: http://www.caligari.com/News/news_200905/LetterFromTheFounder.html I just wanted to let everyone know that as of Friday, May 22nd, my Microsoft / Caligari email address will no longer be valid, and I will no longer be working in an official capacity for trueSpace, Caligari or Microsoft. This means that after those dates, I will also not be using this user name on the forums, to avoid any possible confusion. Also, it means that if you need to contact me after this Friday, do get in touch within the next few days to set up an alternative means of contact. Although again I have to stress I will not be in any official capacity at that time, and will simply be a trueSpace user like everyone else. It's been a great community, and the best part of the work I've done has been in taking the great things trueSpace users have achieved, whether that be artwork or plugins or other projects, and trying to get those as much coverage as possible via newsletters and more. The other favorite part of mine was when I've been able to help someone get around a problem they faced, or helped them learn a new tool, etc, and then seen them go on to create whatever they had in mind. Very rewarding to have been part of enabling people in that way. Of course trueSpace has been more than a job for me, since I was involved with it for many years before that as a user, so as much as it is a cliche to say it, for me, this is an end of an era.
