Now all it needs is a bit of brighter highlights on the rocks around the ascending guy to suggest he's giving off some light of his own (he's already got a bit of a glow happening). I think you should feel proud of yourself for perservering with this image - you've captured the story you were trying to tell and you've made it look polished. Well done.
