Hello everyone.

Do you have any suggestions if there is some layout files that makes TS work better on small displays? I am currently working in another city during the weeks so I only have a small EEEPC with 1024x600 in resolution to work with.

The standard layout doesn't work so good on that kind of low resolutions - do we have any more effective layout for this small computers?

Regards

/Mathias

I have a set of layouts I've been meaning to post for a while, set for 1680 but I believe the new button arrangement in them could work well on smaller sizes. Let me look into that and see if I can finish those up for posting, and see if 1024 versions are possible.

Meantime, layouts are always welcome - part of the idea of tS is that people can make and share layouts and pick which works best for them. Making special layouts for special purposes and specific resolutions is a good idea :)

Thanks!

Tom

That sounds very interesting Tom.

These small computers are good to carry with you but they are a bit hard to work on with there limited resolution - I miss my 24" screen at home...

Looking forward to see if there is any good small screen layout.

You're welcome to try this one. I'm running at 1024 X 768.

Here's the layouts I was working on - the 1024 were saved in windowed mode, not sure if that will cause any issues when screen res is actually 1024, let me know if so and I can resave and re-release the set.

I am experimenting with both Toms and hultek43s new layouts. I am still not sure which works best for me but it is great to try them.

A question though, is this a bug: I have my taskbar at top of screen. When I change layout, ts always hides itself under the taskbar. Is this possible to avoid?
